Features

Performance Driven

Like all NAD products, the NAD T 748’s primary focus is performance. We put our heart and soul into each and every one of our products with our goal being your enjoyment. The T 748 has everything needed for a sublime home cinema experience without any extraneous or overly complicated features. With seven channels of ultra low distortion power, the T 748 creates a seamless and immersive sound field that captivates and astounds with today’s latest HD soundtracks.

Complete Video

The T 748 features the latest in digital video technology including 3D video at resolutions up to 1080p. Legacy analogue video is converted to HDMI for simple one wire connection of all your video sources. Audio Return Channel and Consumer Electronic Control are also supported on HDMI, allowing seamless integration with all your digital video devices. The T 748 locks on to the source component’s video resolution and passes it through to the video display without adding or subtracting anything.

Powerful Audio

All popular surround sound formats are decoded using the latest generation of high speed DSP, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio. Stereo source material can be converted to surround sound using NAD’s renowned EARS surround mode, praised by reviewers for its natural sound quality. A preamp output allows for more power to be added in the future by simply connecting one of NAD’s power amps.

Control and Command

NAD has created a simple user interface that is incredibly flexible but very easy to use. Each source component has its own customized setup that is memorized and recalled every time it is selected for viewing. In addition, powerful AV Presets allow custom setups for different types of program material that can specify speaker settings and surround modes to your exact taste. Inputs can even be renamed to match your particular components. A supplied wireless remote works with an On-Screen video display to make setup and control easy. There are also connections provided for external control systems like Crestron, AMX, Neuvo, etc.
